Our utmost goal is to deliver service that meets and exceeds customer expectations. MG provides a one-stop solution, taking care of every step from job-site measurement all the way to installation. Whether you’re just beginning to explore the possibility of a project or you’re ready to take the plunge, learning more about our custom cabinetry workflow is always a valuable step. On this platform, you’ll find insights into our collaborative design approach with you, plus a breakdown of the steps that transform your conceptual ideas into a fully installed cabinetry system.

After Production

Your order doesn’t leave our facility until it passes our rigorous post-production quality check—we start by assembling cabinets to test their quality. If you’ve ordered assembled packing, our QC team will carefully recheck each cabinet’s dimensions (to ensure it fits your space perfectly) and every panel’s quality (from 2H hardness paint to neat lacquer edges). For bulk flat packing orders, we assemble sample cabinets—covering both regular and custom sizes—to make sure the entire batch meets our standards. If we find any issues (even minor ones), we’ll remake the defective parts or cabinets right away, and keep checking until everything passes. This thorough final step means you receive cabinets that live up to MG’s quality promise, with no compromises.

01  Flat Packed Cabinets

Flat pack cabinets—also commonly referred to as knock-down cabinets or ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinets—are packed in individual panels rather than fully assembled units. This means clients will need to assemble all components themselves upon receipt, a process that requires more time and a higher level of installation expertise compared to pre-assembled options. However, this packing format offers a key advantage: the slim, compact packages take up significantly less space in shipping containers. For MG clients, this directly translates to reduced shipping costs—especially for large-volume orders—while still ensuring product quality: as noted in our post-production QC process, we assemble representative standard and special-size flat pack cabinets to verify dimensions, panel quality (such as 2H hardness paint and neat lacquer edges), and structural integrity before shipment, so you receive reliable components for assembly.

02  Assembled Pack Cabinets

If you opt for assembled pack cabinets, your order will arrive as fully built units—no need to put pieces together yourself. This works best for smaller cabinets, like wall units or base units; for taller items (think high pantries or wardrobes), we usually suggest flat packing to keep them safe in transit. The biggest perks for you? On-site installation is faster and cheaper, since the cabinets are ready to place right away. Plus, because we fully assemble these cabinets during our post-production QC (checking dimensions, panel quality, and structural fit), most issues get caught before shipping—so you’re less likely to face wrong cabinets or assembly problems on-site. The only tradeoff? Assembled units take up more room in shipping containers, so you’ll pay a bit more for shipping than you would for flat packed cabinets.

Shipping – Loading Process

When it comes to loading your cabinets into containers, our team of experienced loading workers takes meticulous care—especially considering the unique needs of different packing formats. For assembled pack cabinets (which arrive as fully built units) and flat packed cabinets alike, every item is handled with precision to avoid bumps, scratches, or structural damage. Our workers leverage their expertise to optimize loading arrangements: for bulkier assembled units, they ensure proper spacing and support to prevent shifting; for slim flat packed panels, they organize stacks securely to maximize space without compromising safety. Throughout the entire loading process, our top priority is to guarantee zero damage to your cabinets, so they maintain the same quality (verified by our post-production QC) from our facility to your destination.
